Greenhouse Gases - Part 2 Specification with Guidance at the Project Level for Quantification, Monitoring and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reductions or Removal Enhancements
This Indian Standard (Part 2) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 14064-2 : 2019 'Greenhouse Gases - Part 2: Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions or removal enhancements' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Environmental Management Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
This standard was originally published in 2009 by adoption of ISO 14064-2 : 2006. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 14064-2 : 2019.
The major changes in this revision as compared to the previous edition are as follows:
a) The concept of additionality and the baseline scenario have been changed; and
b) Text related to the Kyoto mechanism has been deleted.
