ASTM B135/B135M : 26 New ASTM DRM Policy

1.1 This specification establishes the requirements for seamless round and rectangular including square copper alloy tube in straight lengths. Ten alloys are specified having the following nominal compositions:

1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not necessarily exact equivalents; therefore, to ensure conformance with the standard, each system shall be used independently of the other, and values from the two systems shall not be combined.

1.3 Warning—Mercury has been designated by many regulatory agencies as a hazardous substance that can cause serious medical issues. Mercury, or its vapor, has been demonstrated to be hazardous to health and corrosive to materials. Caution should be taken when handling mercury and mercury containing products.
