CSA ISO 17830:17 (R2021)

CSA Preface This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-ISO 17830, Solid biofuels — Particle size distribution of disintegrated pellets , which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 17830 (first edition, 2016-03-01). For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as "CAN/CSA-ISO 17830" throughout. This Standard is one of many Standards developed by ISO/TC 238 on Solid Biofuels that are being adopted by CSA Group. This Standard aims to define the requirements and method used to determine particle size distribution of disintegrated pellets. It is applicable for pellets that fully disintegrate in hot water. This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Technical Committee on Solid Biofuels, under the jurisdiction of the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Fuel Burning Equipment, and has been formally approved by the Technical Committee. This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group. Scope This International Standard aims to define the requirements and method used to determine particle size distribution of disintegrated pellets. It is applicable for pellets that fully disintegrate in hot water.
