This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the metal components for car port to be used mainly in dwellings. This Standard applies to components for car port, excluding the roofing material, whose roof is supported by single-side columns or both-side columns. Those with the periphery enclosed or those having storage or foundations are not covered.
